A Pet-friendly Celebration at Whiskers N Paws in Ap Lei Chau to Encourage Pet Adoption and Bring Happiness to Furry Friends

Description
Hong Kong's first-ever pet adoption center, 'Whiskers N Paws' (WNP), will be hosting a celebration event called 'Petiversary' on Saturday, May 31st, at their flagship store in Ap Lei Chau. The event will bring together pet parents and potential adopters to celebrate and reflect on WNP's heartwarming journey over the past 17 years in creating 'forever homes' for rescued animals.
The 'Petiversary' anniversary celebration presents a variety of activities to engage with furry friends
This family-friendly celebration will feature a range of activities and special programs, including a donation ceremony recognizing the contributions of seven long-term non-profit partners: 'House of Joy and Mercy', 'HKDR', 'LAP', 'Paws United', 'SAA', 'Sai Kung Stray Friends', and 'SPCA'. The event will also include various adoption promotion initiatives, such as complimentary name tags for shelter pets with on-site consumption, a responsible pet ownership education exhibition, and interactive segments like professional pet agility performances, creative pet accessory workshops, the popular 'Paws for Portraits' photo booth, and the highly anticipated 'Cutest Paw' contest. To commemorate the 17th anniversary, customers will enjoy an exclusive 17% discount on selected items throughout the day.
17 years of unwavering dedication to seeking happiness for pets, encouraging adoption over purchasing
Pet adoption services will be available during the event to help furry friends find their new families. Ms. Chung Yee-Chi, founder of WNP, shared: 'Since 2007, we have successfully united many pets with loving families through our unique retail-adoption model. This anniversary is not just about showcasing our achievements but also reminding Hong Kong families that adoption is a viable option when considering adding a furry member to their household.' Ms. Chung also elaborated on the original intent of the event: 'We aim to raise awareness about pet adoption, conveying the message that every animal deserves a suitable home, and that each adoption has the power to transform their lives.'
